I recently bought my second pack and it seems like they're a bit hit or miss.
My first pack (before the updates to the pens) were really smooth and the sparkle was incredible! The things I didn't love; the pen caps are really temperamental and rarely actually clicked onto the pen and stayed, they also broke quite easily. One of the pens from the old set exploded and unfortunately ruined the top I was wearing.
The new pack have the updated barrels which I really like to help differentiate between some of the more similar colours. The nib update I'm not sure about since this box are definitely more scratchy. One of the nibs is also pushed into the pen and isn't very secure so moves when pressure is put on it - which doesn't make it impossible to use but it is a bit more tricky.
I have the two sets of water based pens, this years calendar and all the books - the quality of those is really high, and I have no major faults for those. These glitter pens I'm just torn over. I imagine they're more difficult to manufacture, and I can tell the quality they're aiming for is great, so I understand the price but given that they seem to be a bit inconsistent I just can't decide whether I'd personally consider it worth it.

At the start the pens are great but they have all run out already. Paying £11.68 for pens to run out after using them for a couple of days is not good.
