These pens were part of our biggest (and most heartfelt) launch yet – six beautiful marker sets, made to pair with our first-of-its-kind 100% bleed-proof colouring book. 

But after launch, we discovered that some pens weren’t performing the way they should. A small but noticeable number of customers let us know their markers were drying too quickly – sometimes after just a page or two.

From our thorough investigation, we estimated that roughly 10% of pens in this batch may be affected (it could be more or less, it’s really hard to know!). Some work beautifully, some might not. We just can’t guarantee the outcome of the pens.

Rather than letting thousands of pens be shipped back to the factory (and likely discarded), our customers reached out in their hundreds and requested we continue to sell them, but at a discount. We’ve listened, and so this is why we’re choosing to offer them here – honestly, transparently, and at a huge discount.

These pens are being sold at a discount due to known quality issues – we can’t guarantee how they’ll perform, but we’re grateful to those happy to give them a home either way.
